The clothing brand WNM is based and founded as an artistic expression of my life experiences and my desire for a different future. In my life I’ve experienced extreme financial destitution, the struggles of not having a father and much more. At one of the lowest moments of my life everything was going wrong - My car was repossessed, I was working two full time jobs and I couldn’t get ahead of any bills. This is the case for many people around the world right now. I was fortunate enough to find a second wind and get out of that situation with ceaseless persistence and some luck of course. Though, in the middle of that perfect storm the pipes in my sink started to leak and I was preparing for the worst; Somehow in the midst of that moment I had felt my mindset shift and instead of saying “why me?”, I had thought “why not me?”. This moment would go on to define who I would become, I felt fortunate and grateful to be put in such a situation as it grew my character and steeled my resolve in how I would face my problems going forward. My greatest gift wasn’t any physical or mental edge, but the resolve and grit to not give up regardless of my circumstances,  and if anyone should be faced with such hard times, it was only fitting that it would be me.

Now, as an adult with my own family, I strive to express my art with a message many can agree with: “Why not me?”
